Delivering effective RSE to LGBTQ young people
Young people have a lot to think about growing up. Exploring their sexual orientation or gender identity should be a positive experience for all young people, including lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people. It isn’t always easy to know how best to support a young person as they begin to think about who they are nor obvious how to make sure they have everything they need to develop and flourish at school. This one-day training course will raise awareness of the sexual health issues experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people (LGBTQ) enabling participants to develop and enhance best practice in relation to their service delivery for these individuals.
