Understanding & Tackling Child Sexual Exploitation Training
Child sexual exploitation is a very specific form of child abuse, prevalent in all areas and perpetrated by individuals from all sectors of society.
All young people are potentially at risk of being sexually exploited. All professionals working with children and young people have a legal duty to recognise this type of abuse and safeguard them through prevention, early identification and intervention. National guidance identifies the importance of specialist child sexual exploitation training for professionals to support them in the role of safeguarding children and young people from sexual exploitation
