Many young people display challenging or distressed behaviours because it can be the only way they can or know to communicate. By promoting an awareness of the causes of behaviour that challenges facilitators can understand their clients better. The aim of this course is to help you to understand what challenging behaviour is, who it affects and how you can recognise this with the young people you are working with.

Additionally ALL participants will gain access to a wide range of resources, including educational materials, referral networks, and support services.
