Charlotte Gordon

Director & Mentor

Charlotte is the founder and director of KIP Education and chairwoman of the Drug Education Practitioners Forum, and is a core member of the Sex Education Forum and the PSHE Association.

Charlotte is a qualified youthworker and motivational speaker. Working consistently with vulnerable young people for over 25 years. Driven and focused upon the areas of emotional distress, anxiety and depression that young people are going through and how to better equip professionals practically in the area of building emotional resilience in young people using life skills approaches.

Charlotte’s delivers nationwide to young people , parents and caters , professionals, including substance misuse workers, teachers, social workers, mental health workers, youth workers and youth offending teams, and all professionals working with young people.

Craig Pinkney

TRAINER

Craig Pinkney is a Criminologist, Urban Youth Specialist, Lecturer and director of Real ActionUK, a charitable, outreach organisation based in Birmingham, UK, which specialises in working with disaffected youth. He is an experienced youth worker and has a BA (Hons) in Youth & Community Development and an MA in Criminology.

Craig has over 13 years of experience as an outreach worker, transformational speaker, gang exit strategist, mediator, mentor and filmmaker. He is well known for working with some of Birmingham’s most challenging young people, potentially high-risk offenders, victims of gang violence and youth who are deemed most hard to reach.

Craig Pinkney also is a full-time lecturer at University College of Birmingham, specialising in youth violence, urban street gangs, extremism, trauma and Black men’s desistance.

Adrian Sladdin

Adrian is a Director at Aspire Prep UK, an innovative training business based in London, offering education, leadership and mentoring solutions to local authorities in the United Kingdom and external international clients. He is also the co-founder of the Young International Leadership Programme, an engaging programme for young people around the world looking to develop their skills. He also sits as an expert in the International Centre for Learning and Leadership which prepares young people for future employment with a global focus.

Adrian has written extensively during his career and he has developed resources for a range of clients, as well as bespoke workshops and training. His consultancy work includes public speaking, training for external clients as well as advice on bid-writing. In his free time, Adrian sits as Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Jane Goodall Institute UK, part of the wider global environmental charity.

Majella Greene

TRAINER

Majella has over 15 years experience as an MI trainer coupled with 20+ years (though you’d never know it to look at her!) as a MI practitioner working with substance use, mental health, HIV+ and private practice clients. As a clinical supervisor Majella has used MI to develop and build teams to work utilising their strengths.

She is an activist, a curator of people to bring about personal, social and cultural change. A registered social worker, positive psychology practitioner, behaviour change specialist and integrative therapist with over 30 years of experience in working with people to have a better life. Her work is trauma informed, person centred and humanistic.

Majella is currently developing more trauma informed practice, how the body retains information and tells us what we need to know.

 

Danny Andrews

Trainer

Daniel’s experience includes working with one of the UK’s most influential educational charities. He works closely with schools, colleges, alternative provisions, & families, whether it’s sharing his story in motivational talks or assisting in the delivery of one of his two programmes.

Daniel’s passion is to see young people much more engaged in education, re-discover their dreams and change their mindsets towards their future.

Kim Milich

TRAINER

Kim is an accredited Success & Wellbeing Life Coach (Animas Centre for Coaching). Kim specialises in mind-body connection, stress, anxiety, overwhelm, self-regulation, mindfulness and cultivating creativity. 

Kim’s experience extends to schools, youth setting and corporations. As well as running her own private practice.
