Interactive Webinar: Growth Mindset & Raising Resilience in Young People

January 11 @ 4:00 pm 6:00 pm UTC+0

Decades of research has shown that when young people have certain key beliefs or “mindsets,” they are more motivated to work hard, put more effort into their schoolwork, and show increased personal and academic achievement. Having a growth mindset has been shown to reliably predict persistence and achievement.

Growth Mindset: Young people believe they can improve their abilities by working hard, learning new strategies, and seeking help when needed.

By supporting young people in developing the skills to build resilience and a growth mindset, we can minimise the effects of negative, stressful situations. These skills allow young people to face challenges, learn from them, and develop ways to live a happy and healthy life.

This interactive webinar gives a unique framework when working with young people. This course is ideal for those who want to expand their knowledge as a relevant resource for their work with young people.

With a perfect blend of theory and practical skills that you can use with young people.

This training consists of real-time sessions techniques, discussion groups and opportunities to practice and network with each other.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Research on how beliefs shape learning
  • How to teach a growth mindset and change mindsets
