Preparing for Statutory RSE

Preparing for statutory RSE:

Relationships and Sex Education Workshops

From September 2020, changes to the national curriculum will see compulsory RSE (with some exceptions) in all schools in England.

The aim of RSE is to give young people the information and support they need to develop healthy, respectful relationships of all kinds, not just intimate relationships.

This series of practical online workshops aims to equip teachers, youth workers and other educators with the practical knowledge, skills and tools they need to feel confident delivering engaging, creative RSE to young people aged 11-19. This includes specific webinars on the impact of pornography, consent, control and coercion and inclusive LGBTQ+ RSE.

In addition we are offering new webinars, aimed specifically at supporting parents and carers, to give them the information they need to support RSE in schools and have positive conversations in an age appropriate way at home.

Inclusive RSE Education

Creative, timely and with the ability to respond to emerging needs, engaging young people in the spaces they choose to meet is now more valuable than ever as we make the slow journey from lockdown towards the new normal.
