Overview

KIP Education CIC’s professional safeguarding training programme is for organisations who have a duty of care to children and young people whilst delivering a service or activity to them and/or their families.

 

It systematically builds the capacity of organisations to keep children and young people safe from abuse and exploitation by staff, volunteers or other relevant related individuals.

 

It is a tailored step by step process that is accompanied by expert advice, policy development and resources from experienced child protection practitioners.

Online Safeguarding Children & Young People Training

This includes online grooming for child sexual and criminal exploitation (CSE and CCE) and the Prevent duty schools and youth services have to reduce the risks of radicalisation.

Advanced Safeguarding Children & Young People Training Level 2

Consider the potential indicators associated with different forms of abuse and how to record them • Identify the role of key agencies in safeguarding and child protection

Safeguarding Children & Young People Training Level 1

This training explores why some young people are considered more vulnerable than others, the legislation and police powers that affect them (including stop & search) and the impact of peers, family and community on decisions made.
